Napoleon Bonaparte letter signed as Emperor of France to his stepson, Prince Eugene de Beauharnais. From St. Cloud on 20 June 1806, Napoleon writes at the pivotal time between the Wars of the Third and Fourth Coalition, shortly after his decisive victory at the Battle of Austerlitz. Napoleon appears to ask the Prince to provide descriptions of various military items, including a pirogue, or long narrow boat. Document measures 7.25'' x 9.25'', encapsulated by PSA to a size of 9.625'' x 13.125''. Very good to near condition, with Napoleon's signature graded a perfect 10 by PSA. Accompanied by another document titled ''Pirogue'', appearing to be the description of it.
