NASA concept artwork for the SV-5D, aircraft created under START (Spacecraft Technology and Advanced Re-entry Tests), a program that experimented with lifting aircraft, technology that was eventually used in the space shuttle program. Three successful test flights of the SV-5D were ultimately made, the first in 1966. Martin Co. concept print is circa early 1960s. Measures 20'' x 24''. Light wear and a few spots of discoloration. Overall very good condition.
