I don't know what prompted this poem. And it is not dedicated to you honey

Which side of the bed?

Which side of the bed did you sleep on last night
Which side did you get out of this morning?
Is the face that you carry a grouchy sight
Or is there a bright smile adorning?
You hardly need tell me which side that your head
Lay through the long night hours dreaming
For 'tis easy to see what you have unsaid
Your looks, be they sullen or beaming
So when in the evening you're ready for sleep.
With a vision or thought of the morrow
See to it that brightness is the thing that you keep.
And trouble be sure not to borrow
And when in the morning around your bright room
You see all the sunbeams beguiling
Don't rise on the side that will drive you to gloom
But the side that will keep you a smiling."
