In this very personal letter Moe writes, ''...I shall never forget exactly 14 months and 14 days ago when I received a telegram in the dressing room...'Its an 8 pound boy I am feeling fine. Stay out of the gutter'. What a thrill and I can't help but feel thrilled all over again being in this town again...I may not be able to tell you these things personally. I don't know why. But I've always felt them in my heart...For your everlovin Lonesome & Devoted Sweetheart & Daddy...'' Three page letter on two sheets measures 6'' x 9.5''. Very good to near fine condition.

Letter reads in full,

"Darling Beansie, Joanie, Paul & All! -- Hope you all well at home, I'm feeling fine and dandy. Well here I am in Boston on the last leg of this trip hopeing and praying that it will soon be over. I shall never forget exactly 14 months and 14 days ago when I received a telegram in the dressing room of the Metropolitan Theatre here 'Its an 8 pound boy I am feeling fine, Stay out of the gutter'. What a thrill and I can't help but feel thrilled all over again being in this town again I can only say to you Beansie darling Thanks a million. I stopped here to write the little poem enclosed. I know it isn't good honey, but I felt blue at the moment and wanted in some way to express to you how much you mean to me darling and how much I appreciate all the big and little things you have done for me and given to me. I may not be able to tell you these things personally, I don't know why. But I've always felt them in my heart, but just couldn't bring them any further than my tonsils and then they would stick and joke me all up and go back to my heart and there they are and even if they never get any farther than my tonsils one way I know they will never go any further in the other direction than my heart. Cause I love you tremendously and always will.

I received the lovely pajamas, and I sure was surprized so thanks another million. I won't even try them on until I get home.

How are my darlings Joanie and Tarzan. Are they well are they behaving. I'm sure I won't do any-thing to break down what you have built up in the way of routine. But don't tell me you won't let me give Joanie the few things I have bought for her, to give her when I get home. I've just been living these last 3 or 4 weeks for the time when I get home and see her face when I give her the few things I have for her. Better tell me now, as I'd rather not bring them home than the thought of having them and not being able to give it to her. Give my love, hugs and kisses to Tarzan darling and my Joanie and you honey. I don't have to tell you, 'Everything I have is yours.' Give my love to all at home. And thanks again for the lovely pajamas they look marvelous. I love you with all my heart beansie angel. No mail to-day Just the package. God bless you all at home and keep you all safe, well and happy forever. For your everlovin
