Large lot of 34 membership cards belonging to Milton Berle, the 20th century actor and comedian so famous he was nicknamed ''Mr. Television''. Lot includes:
1-2) Two cards for the Hollywood Comic Club, dated 1959 and 1960.
3-6) Four cards for the Society of American Magicians, dated 1959-1961 and 1963.
7-9) Three cards for the Saints and Sinners of Los Angeles, a private Hollywood club, dated 1959-1960. Note that two cards from 1960 are present, one not filled out.
10-11) Two cards for the Miami Beach Police and Firemen's Benevolent Association, dated 1960-1961.
12-14) Three cards for NARAS, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, dated 1960-1962.
15-18) Four cards for the DGA, Director's Guild of America, dated 1962, 1996-1997 and 2001.
19-21) Three cards for the WGA, Writer's Guild of America, dated 1997 and 2001. One card is for the WGA Health Fund Prescription Drug Program.
22-25) Four cards for AFTRA, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, two from 1962 and two from 2001.
26) One card for the Actors' Equity Association, dated 2001.
27-29) Three cards for the American Guild of Authors and Composers, dated 1959 and 1962-1963.
30) Medical Device ID card for an implanted pacemaker.
31) Guest card for The Executive Club of Beverly Hills, dated 1961.
32) Coach & Four Steak & Chop House restaurant card, dated 1960.
33) Card for the London club, Helene Cordet's Cercle de la Maison de France, dated 1958.
34) Western Union credit card, dated 1960.
Cards vary in size but most measure approximately 4'' x 2.5''. Very good to near fine condition.
