Very rare Boston program from the April 1965 Civil Rights march and ''Freedom Rally'' at Boston Common, where the crowd numbered 50,000. Program includes a message from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and guidelines for civil disobedience and marching protocol. King states here, ''...I am convinced...nonviolence will redeem the soul of America...'' Also included is the text of five ''Freedom Songs'' and a message from Rev. Wood. Each of 8 fold-out sections measures 6'' x 9.5''. Creasing and light soiling. Very good.
