Malcolm X autograph note signed, postmarked from Tampa, Florida on 1 October 1958. At this time, Malcolm X was speaking throughout the country on behalf of the Nation of Islam and police brutality. He writes to Gloria Owens, ''Greetings from Sunny Florida. Malcolm X'' on the back of a postcard showing an offensive caricature of a black boy who's about to be spanked by an older black woman for not saying his prayers correctly. Postcard measures 5.5'' x 3.5''. Very good plus condition.
