Legendary Southern Rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd self-titled debut album, featuring the autographs of the founding band members Ronnie Van Zant, Allen Collins & Gary Rossington as well as original band members Bill Powell & Leon Wilkeson on the cover. After skyrocketing to fame through the mid-70's with hits like ''Sweet Home Alabama, ''Free Bird'' & ''What's Your Name'', tragedy struck on 20 October 1977 when a chartered plane carrying the band crashed in Mississippi. Lead singer Van Zant was killed along with six others, including two bandmates. The original incarnation of Lynyrd Skynyrd disbanded shortly after the accident. Also included with this lot is a series of communications between manager Peter Rudge, the record label and UK promoters regarding a 1976 European tour, including a budget with projected earnings for a concert at the Cirque Royal in Brussels. Documents also include some personal communications regarding concert logistics. Album, with record, has been well-preserved, in near fine condition. With COA from Roger Epperson.
