Lucille Ball personally owned silver and turquoise necklace gifted to a fellow cast member in the 1950's. Necklace features eight oval-shaped pieces of turquoise in ornate silver castings. With an LOA reading in part, ''...This necklace formerly belonged to Miss Lucille Ball who worked with my aunt in the film business in the 1950s. My aunt Lois Austin and her husband Charlie Barton were both in the film world in Hollywood and they knew Lucille Ball and her husband Desi Arnaz quite well and fondly. My aunt Lois was in a picture with Lucille Ball called The Fullerbrush Girl, at which time she was given this necklace by Miss Ball. My aunt recalled Miss Ball saying that she had bought it while on vacation and that she did not care how it made noise when she wore it. By this, I presume she meant the sound of the metal jingling when she wore it...'' With the letters ''G / M'' engraved to verso of center turquoise piece. Necklace measures 10'' in diameter. Minor tarnishing to silver, else near fine condition.
