Louisiana political poster from 1936, with Huey Long casting a long shadow even after his assassination. Poster features Long front and center, along with Louisiana Governor O.K. Allen who had died in January 1936, with title at top: ''The Long Ticket / Carry on for Huey & O.K.'' Poster features a bevy of candidates endorsed by the still powerful Long political machine, with various promises including free hospitals and ambulances. Visible portion of lithographic poster measures 22.25'' x 28.25'', framed to 23.75'' x 30''. With union bug at lower right. Not examined out of frame. Folds and light creasing, overall very good.
