Appreciation award from CBS given to Louise Fletcher for her participation in the CBS program ''An American Portrait'', which portrayed American historical figures in one minute segments. As a child of deaf parents, Fletcher's special highlighted deaf leader Edward M. Gallaudet, founder of Gallaudet College. Fletcher both signed and spoke during the one-minute tribute that aired on 2 October 1984. Wooden award featured a cut-out of the Statue of Liberty'' with wood-cut lettering at top. Measures 4.25'' x 9'' x 1.75''. Minor scuffing, overall in very good plus condition.
