Lot of three top-tier entertainment awards, including: (1) Directors Guild of America medal awarded to Michael Onofrio for Outstanding Directorial Achievement for the 1978 production of the Kennedy Center Honors. Measures 3.75'' in diameter, and weighs 1 lbs, 4 oz. Comes housed in original DGA box measuring 5.25'' square. In very good condition. (2) Academy Award Commendation medal, awarded to photographer Arthur Gerson, credited on the 1939 film ''Judge Hardy and Son''. Entire plaque measures 5'' x 7''. Light scratches, overall very good condition. A rare Academy Award of Commendation. (3) Academy Award nomination for the Korean War documentary ''Heartbreak Ridge'', profiling the French Battalion of the United Nations during the Korean War. Award is for ''Best Documentary Feature'' for 1955. Large plaque is inlaid in wood and measures 12'' x 13.5''. Near fine condition.
