This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2019
Nice lot of 16 telegrams to and from Moe Howard, with 12 sent to Howard in London in 1939 when The Three Stooges debuted at the London Palladium. One of these, from "The Nuthouse" wishes "May your opening be as big as Mae Wests". Other telegrams include one sent by Moe's wife Helen upon the birth of their son in July 1935. She writes, "Its a gorgeous 8 pound boy…Keep out of the gutters…" A telegram sent in 1938 by Moe to his wife wishes her a happy anniversary when he was on the road, and another sent by Moe wishes his son a happy birthday in 1936. Lastly, one sent in 1960 thanks Moe for a "prized performance". Fun lot of telegrams, of different sizes but approximately 8.5" x 6", all very good to near fine.
