Lot of one hundred personal checks signed by legendary screen siren ''Mary Astor''. Each check is made out in her hand in the 1970's to 1980's and printed with her name. Those from the early '70's bear her Laguna Hills address and some from the late 70's list her residence at Tiverton Avenue, which she has crossed out. Most list her address at the famous movie business retirement home on Mulholland Drive. Over the course of her lengthy career Astor won an Academy Award and performed memorably opposite Humphrey Bogart in 1941's ''The Maltese Falcon.'' Measuring 6'' x 2.75'', checks bear standard cancellations and are in near fine condition.
