Lot of 100 personal checks signed by ''Mary Astor'' and made out in her hand. Checks in the lot are dated 1973, and bear her Huntington Beach address. Astor won an Academy Award in 1941, the same year she starred opposite Humphrey Bogart in ''The Maltese Falcon,'' which earned her the admiration of the public that withstood scandal in her personal life. Measuring 6'' x 2.75'', checks bear standard cancellations and are in very good condition.
