Dr. Seuss typed letter signed to his friend Diddo Clark. Dated 8 February 1971 and written upon his personal stationery, letter reads in full: ''Dear Diddo, Thank you for your wonderful new invitation to dine with you on so many different possible dates. Very shortly I hope to be able to take you up on this, but I am still up to my neck in that movie. I will give you a call just as soon as the confusion of my life straightens out. Very best, [signed] Ted Geisel''. Single page on pale blue paper measures 7'' x 10.5''. Creasing and two tiny stains, else near fine.
