Signed upon the front free endpaper, ''To Mr. & Mrs. Lowell Welch / With every good wish / Ronald Reagan 7/27/65''. The title of the book comes from ''King's Row,'' a 1942 movie. Reagan called it his favorite film and claimed his role in it ''made me a star.'' Bound in black cloth boards with gilt lettering to the spine. The 316pp. book with original dustjacket measures 5.5'' x 8.25''. The slightest wear to board bottom edges and toning to leaves, else near fine. Toning to dustjacket edges, else near fine.
