The front page features a color print of the American flag beneath a headline reading: ''ASSASSIN KILLS JFK; DEFECTOR CHARGED''. A photo of JFK and Lyndon B. Johnson greeting the public together appears on the lower half of the front page with the telling caption: ''The 35th and 36th Presidents''. Articles tell of the suspension of normal life in the wake of the tragedy, such as the cancellation of sports dates. 24pp. Toning, else near fine.
