The 23 November 1963 edition of The Dallas Morning News announcing the assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas earlier that evening. The headline blares the news that left an entire nation shocked and heartbroken: ''KENNEDY SLAIN ON DALLAS STREET''. The front page displays a portrait photo of Kennedy and a smaller one of Johnson. One column covers LBJ taking the oath of office, and another reports on the shooting. Interior articles chronicle Oswald's capture. Toning with chipping to left edge at fold intersection. Very good.
