Margaret Thatcher signed luxury edition of ''The Downing Street Years'' published by Easton Press: Norwalk, Connecticut: 1993. The United Kingdom's first female Prime Minister signs the limitation page ''Margaret Thatcher''. No. 418 of 2000, this is the first memoir by the conservative leader. It runs 914pp. and comes bound in navy blue leather boards with gilt lettering. All edges are gilt, with a ribbed spine and peach silk moire endpapers. A saffron page marker is sewn into the binding, and a blank Easton Press bookplate is affixed to the front free endpaper. Measures 6.5'' x 9.5''. Very minor abrasion to front board upper left. Near fine.
