Datelined Washington, January 1902, he pans, ''Theodore Roosevelt'' beside Postmaster General Henry C. Payne's countersignature. Post Office seal with blue ribbon is present. Lot includes original Washington D.C. mailing tube and additional postmaster document for Walter Sharp. 22'' x 17'' document has some soiling to left side, else near fine. A clear, bold Roosevelt signature.
