Cal ''Abie'' Abrams signed Class AA minor league contract, dated 15 May 1949, with the Fort Worth Baseball Club, Inc. The left-handed outfielder signs, ''Calvin Ross Abrams'' to the bottom of the first page, and to two more lines on the third page for a total of three full signatures. Abrams began the season with the Brooklyn Dodgers before being transferred to the Texas League. He was paid $350 monthly under this contract. J.L. Reeves signs for the Ft. Worth Baseball Club. The 4pp. 8.5'' x 11'' card style document is in very good condition.
