Ten checks signed by Douglas Fairbanks, Sr. in March and April 1936. The checks, ranging in size from 6.5'' x 2.5'' to 8.5'' x 4.25'', are drawn on the London branch of the Guaranty Trust Company in English currency. Lot also includes three 8'' x 10'' typed letters: one from the United Artists' chief accountant to a Mr. Erickson at the Douglas Fairbanks Pictures Corp., a carbon copy of a letter to the Guaranty Trust Co., and a third from Guaranty Trust to United Artists. A receipt from the Guaranty Trust Co. is included in the lot and measures 5.25'' x 6.5''. All items are in very good condition.
