Lot of five Academy Award programs for 1968 through 1971. Each features an embossed golden Oscar statuette on the cover and the list of nominees inside. An unused ticket to the ceremony at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium is enclosed in the 1969 program. Academy Award programs and ticket originate from the collection of an honorary member of the Academy, the gentleman who serviced the tropical fish tank at the AMPAS office throughout the 1960's and 70's. This same individual originally owned the tablet Academy Award offered in this auction, which was given to him by Margaret Herrick, the Academy's first librarian. Programs measure 9'' x 12''. Moderate soiling, waterstaining and wear to program covers. Overall in very good condition.
