Celebrated American playwright Thornton Wilder autograph letter signed. On his personal Connecticut postal card, Wilder writes to his publishing agent Lucy Tal on 4 July 1941: ''Dear Mrs. Tal, No, it was my third sister Janet who has married, is living near enough so that the family is able to see her, then, from time to time. School here began on the 21st and I am again deep in work. Teaching 3 hours a day and spending twice that in preparation. But there are long week ends to catch up on other things. Again, all my best / as ever / Thornton Wilder.'' Measures 5.5'' x 3.5''. Near fine.
