Lot of 3 Civil War CDVs and a vintage photo album, inscribed, ''Michael Birmingham / Co. G 12th Regt. / Mass. Vols / August 6th, 1863 / York Hospital / York Penna''. Private Birmingham, wounded at Antietam, includes a CDV of George Meade, showing the Union general seated in uniform, with a ''C.D. Fredricks & Co.'' backstamp. A CDV of General George McClellan shows him standing in uniform with his wife seated beside him. The CDV bears a ''Charles D. Fredricks & Co.'' backstamp. The third CDV is an image of an Abraham Lincoln and family painted portrait. Minor toning and soiling to CDVs, with the occasional superficial scratch, else near fine. Album with cloth boards, gilt edges, and gilt floral design to front board has intact lock and will fit a dozen standard sized CDVs. In very good condition.
