Lot of ten checks signed by Barry Goldwater, all dated 23 April 1986. The 6'' x 2.75'' checks are drawn on the Valley National Bank of Phoenix, Arizona. Goldwater, serving his last term as Senator from Arizona, sponsored the Goldwater-Nichols Act, changing the Defense Department chain of command in 1986. Punched holes, minor creasing, else near fine.
