''The Grapes of Wrath'' signed by its author, John Steinbeck. Viking Press: New York: 1963. Signed by the author the year after he received the Nobel Prize, and a few years before his death: ''For M. Klemaszewski from John Steinbeck 11/20/63'' on the half-title page. A fine example of Steinbeck's epic American novel, which largely contributed to his winning the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1962. 5'' x 7.75'' book runs 619pp. Partial separation of front hinge, limited soiling to boards and light wear on both joints. Very good condition.
