Pennant from the ''March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom'' where, on 28 August 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his powerful ''I Have a Dream'' speech. Teal, white and black felt pennant features Abraham Lincoln's profile portrait with the dates of 1863 and 1963, referencing the 100 year milestone of the Emancipation Proclamation. This variant of the pennant is rare, with another version on black felt with white printing. Pennant measures 11'' x 23''. Very good plus condition. Previously owned by an attendee at the march.
