A.A. Milne signed first edition, first printing of ''Now We Are Six'', penned without inscription upon the title page by the Winnie-the-Pooh author. London: Methuen & Co., 1927. Written by Milne and illustrated by E.H. Shepard, ''Now We Are Six'' is a charming collection of 35 poems including ''Furry Bear'' and ''The Friend''. Bound in publisher's claret red cloth boards adorned with gilt illustrations by Shepard, and top edge gilt. Also with original illustrated peach endpapers, housed in first printing dust jacket with price of ''7/6 net'' on spine. Some toning to jacket, especially on spine, and light chipping. Book remains in very good to near fine condition.
