Beautiful photo of Princess Diana, signed by her on the presentation mat and housed in green leather royal frame with gilt embossed ''D'' at top. Satin-finish silver gelatin photo measures approximately 5'' x 7'', mounted to 8'' x 10'' mat to which Diana handwrites in black fountain pen, ''Dearest Alan, / with love from, Diana.'' Royal frame measures 10.25'' x 13.25''. Taken by fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier in 1995, photo beautifully captures the charisma and vulnerability of the Princess. Minor discoloration along edge of mat and a few scuffs to frame. Ribbon back of frame has detached. Overall in very good to near fine condition. Recipient of photo was Alan Jacobson, passenger service manager at JFK Airport for British Airways who was responsible for the royal family and British government officials. He was conferred the honor of MBE, Member of the British Empire, in 1994.
