Full ticket to the U.S. House proceedings for the impeachment trial of President Richard Nixon. Signed in facsimile by Speaker of the House Carl Albert, ticket reads ''admit bearer to the visitor's gallery'' for the planned date of 19 August 1974. Stub along right side is still present. Nixon's ultimate resignation on 9 August nullified these tickets, which had already been printed. Ticket measures 5.5'' x 2.625'', encapsulated by PSA/DNA to a size of 4.25'' x 7.25''. Graded 8 Near Mint-Mint by PSA. From the estate of an individual who worked at the Washington, DC Government Printing Office, Bureau of Engraving and Printing in the 1970s.
