The founding father of aviation signs the half-title page in pencil, ''To Professor James R. Hopkins, / with my compliments and kind regards, / Orville Wright / May 5, 1943''. In publisher's original blue cloth boards, complete in original dust jacket showing price of $3.50. Measures 5.75'' x 8.75'' and runs 340pp. Jacket has some chipping, overall very good. Book is beautifully preserved, showing some discoloration to endpapers, light toning to pages and minor cocking. Overall in very good plus condition.
