Salad plate in the Franklin D. Roosevelt White House pattern, part of the Lenox Exhibit collection. This pattern was designed by the Roosevelts with the inclusion of their family crest, featuring roses, in the gilt scroll around the rim, as the surname Roosevelt means field of roses in Dutch. Plate also features the Presidential Seal in enamel at top, with a band of gold stars against a navy background. The Lenox White House Exhibit Collection maker's mark is present to underside. Plate measures 8.5'' in diameter. Near fine condition.
