Babe Ruth signed baseball schedule from 1939, the same year that Ruth attended the opening of the Baseball Hall of Fame and also spoke to a sold out Yankees stadium for Lou Gehrig Appreciation Day. Ruth signs the 1939 Schedule for the Malone Maroons semi-pro team, printed by the Hotel Flanagan in Malone, New York. A well known destination hotel, the Flanagan hosted the likes of Ruth, Robert F. Kennedy, Eleanor Roosevelt and also mobsters. Boldly signed by Ruth on the front cover, without inscription, schedule measures 3'' x 5.625'' folded and 6'' x 5.625'' unfolded.
