Pasteur's achievements in the field of microbiology and also vaccination against rabies and anthrax are credited with saving millions of lives. Original print published in 1886 by M. Knoedler & Co. is signed at lower right, ''L. Pasteur'' in fine fountain pen. Measures 15.75'' x 19.75''. Light dampstaining to left edge and scattered foxing. Overall in very good condition with a fine image and bold signature.
