Set of two original Walt Disney Productions cels from the 1937 film ''Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'' and the 1950 film ''Cinderella''. Snow White cel features the Evil Queen, here shown holding the potion that will turn her into the old hag. Cel on textured painted background measures approximately 7'' x 9.25'', framed to 12.75'' x 16.75''. Some cracking and buckling to cel, not distracting from display, overall in very good condition.
''Cinderella'' features five cels framed together, showing Cinderella, Bruno the dog, Major the horse, and the two bluebirds. Entire display on hand-drawn background measures approximately 11.5'' x 8.5'', framed to 13.75'' x 11.5''. A few minor spots of cracking, overall near fine.
With an LOA from the consignor, who acquired the cels by descent from his great aunt, who was married to Mitch Legg, Roy Disney's brother-in-law.
