Lot of 14 NASA red number photos, a collection of iconic lunar U.S. flag photos from Apollo 11 and Apollo 15, and rare images from Apollo 13 through ASTP. Collection of 8'' x 10'' photos include:
1) Red number photo AS11-37-5545, showing the U.S. flag planted on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission. Printed on ''A Kodak Paper''. Minor creasing and edgewear, with some discoloration to right margin. Very good condition.
2) Red number photo S-69-38749, showing the plaque that the Apollo 11 astronauts left on the moon. Covered in stainless steel for the flight, plaque is attached to the ladder on the landing gear strut on the descent stage of the Lunar Module. Printed on ''A Kodak Paper''. Minor creasing and wear, in very good plus condition.
3) Red number photo S-70-34411, showing the plaque that the Apollo 13 astronauts would have left on the moon. Printed on ''A Kodak Paper''. Shallow creasing, bends to corners and edgewear. Very good condition.
4) Red number photo AS15-88-11866, showing Apollo 15 astronaut James Irwin saluting the U.S. flag on the moon. Printed on ''A Kodak Paper''. Edgewear and bend to upper right corner, else near fine.
5) Red number photo S-73-26913, showing the Skylab 1 liftoff from Pad A, taken 25 May 1973. Printed on ''This Paper Manufactured by Kodak''. Surface indentations and crease to upper left. Some fading to color, overall in very good condition.
6-8) Red number photos SL3-108-1279, SL3-108-1295 and SL3-112-1527 from Skylab 3, showing the three astronauts, respectively: Science Pilot Owen Garriott, Pilot Jack Lousma and Commander Alan Bean. All printed on ''This Paper Manufactured by Kodak''. Some fading to color and light wear, overall very good condition.
9) Red number photo SL3-108-1307, showing the spider Arabella, one of the two Skylab 3 spiders taken aboard for an experiment to see if they would spin a web in zero-gravity. Printed on ''This Paper Manufactured by Kodak''. Fading to color and some spotting to emulsion, overall very good.
10) Red number photo S-73-34620, showing a view of Earth from Skylab 3, with a clock in the corner of the photo. Printed on ''The Paper Manufactured by Kodak''. Some discoloration to margin, light wear and fading, overall in very good condition.
11) Black number photo S74-17456, showing Skylab 4 Science Pilot Edward Gibson performing an EVA. Monochrome photo has no printing watermark on verso and lacks a resin backing, as called for. Minor edgewear and creasing, overall very good.
12-13) Red number photos S-74-17305 and S-74-17304 from Skylab 4, respectively showing Commander Gerald Carr carrying the maneuvering equipment of experiment M509, and also Carr with Pilot William Pogue. Both printed on ''This Paper Manufactured by Kodak''. Light wear and fading to both, in very good plus condition.
14) Red number photo SL4-93-053 from Skylab 4, showing a view of Mexico including Baja California, with a clock in the corner. Printed on ''This Paper Manufactured by Kodak''. Some fading to color, and light wear, overall very good plus condition.
15) Red number photo S-75-22410, showing the U.S.-Soviet Union five member crew of the the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP), the first ever two-nation cooperative space mission. Printed on ''This Paper Manufactured by Kodak''. Light wear and fading, in very good plus condition.
