Signed on 17 November 1827 by Sam Houston at bottom, with an exceptionally large signature. Document measures 7.875'' x 9.625'', with wax-based paper seal at left, accentuated by blue ribbon. Some toning, and discoloration at top left. Separation starting along folds, including 1.5'' closed tear at top left horizontal fold. Overall in good to very good condition, with a large, bold signature by Houston.
