John Cullen Murphy original artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' Sunday comic strip, #1955 in the series published 28 July 1974. Drawn in ink over graphite, with some red key lines and blue editorial notes, on three sections of illustration board, conjoined on verso to measure approximately 17.5'' x 25.75''. Paste-up of logo and lettering. Light wear and creasing, overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
