Large engraving of George Washington, from the original 1796 painting by Gilbert Stuart, showing President Washington during his final year in office. Engraved and published by W.L. Ormsby of New York, circa 1850. Measures 15.5'' x 23.75''. Some chipping and short closed tears to margins, also with foxing and discoloration only noticeable on margins. Overall in very good condition.
