General George Custer signed envelope, as addressed to his wife ''Mrs Genl Custer''. The legendary General writes to his wife in Monroe, Michigan, postmarked from New York on 4 April. Envelope is blind-embossed with the logo of the Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York. Measures 4.75'' x 2.75''. Uniform toning, and tear to right side affecting the last part of the signature. Very good condition.
