''Superman of Metropolis Award'' signed by Superman creators Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, as well as by the first actor to portray the Man of Steel in cinema, Kirk Alyn. Printed by National Periodical Publications in 1972, this award was given out by the City of Metropolis, Illinois, but is here unusually signed by Siegel, Shuster and Alyn in blue ballpoint, black ballpoint and black felt-tip respectively. Paper award measures 10.625'' x 13.75'', with awardee left blank. Near fine condition.
