Letter reads in full, ''Dear Miss Goeske / I'm sorry we must have missed the letter in opening the package. I'm also sorry to have to repay your kindness by begging off on the invitation to meet with your group. / Unfortunately G.E. [General Electric] has me scheduled for speaking tours through next Jan. Their schedule plus our TV production has forced me to call a halt on making any more dates on my own. / Please accept my regrets and again my thanks for your book - Sincerely / Ronald Reagan''. Single page letter measures 6'' x 8.75''. Uneven left and bottom edges, and minute creasing, else near fine.
