Dr. Denton Cooley signed sketch of a human heart, drawn on his personal stationery. Dr. Cooley performed the first artificial heart implantation surgery in 1969, and here draws a detailed sketch of a human heart, signed ''Denton A. Cooley MD'' and dated 29 April 2013. Sketch measures approximately 4.125'' x 5.625'' with trimmed right and lower edges. Near fine condition.
