Gus Grissom's personally owned textbook used by Grissom while an undergrad at Purdue University, with his ownership signature, address and notes in his hand. ''Thermodynamics'' is signed by the Apollo 1 astronaut in ink on the front pastedown, ''Grissom, Virgil I'', along with his address, and handwritten notes by him in pencil regarding the coursework and exam. New York: John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 1947. In addition to notes on the front pastedown, book contains notations throughout by Grissom. Book measures 5.75'' x 8.625''. Some light shelf wear, overall in very good condition. With an LOA from Mark Grissom, and COA from Steve Zarelli Space Authentication.
