''Howdy Doody'' host and co-creator Buffalo Bob Smith worn costume, in the same cowboy style popularized by the show. Costume was worn by Smith in the late 1970s and early 1980s for TV appearances, such as his David Letterman appearance in 1987. Custom-made costume by Lee Carol includes top with buffalo image sewn to back, pants in matching style, and belt with silver-colored belt buckle. Approximate size large. Light wear, overall in very good condition. With an LOA from Robin Smith, Bob Smith's son.
