Shirley Temple owned white leather bound script from the 1936 film ''Captain January'' where she played ''Star''. The 124 page hand-typed script includes 2 watercolor paintings as endpapers, with the first painting depicting a circular staircase and the steering wheel of a ship, and the second painting depicting two circular staircases. Both are signed ''HB. 35''. Also included is a vintage photograph of Shirley and co-star Guy Kibbee affixed to flyleaf. Embossed on the spine in gold lettering reads, ''SHIRLEY TEMPLE / CAPTAIN JANUARY / 1935''. Script measures 9'' x 11'', with top edge gilt. Near fine condition. With a COA signed by the Shirley Temple estate, and a photo of Shirley at her desk with the script in the background.
