Edward Gorey illustration for Saki's short story, ''The Unrest-Cure'', considered a ''perfect pairing'' of author and illustrator. Originally published in ''The Chronicles of Clovis'' in 1911, ''The Unrest-Cure'' was subsequently re-published in ''The Unrest-Cure and Other Stories'', illustrated by Gorey. Completed in pen and ink, illustration is signed by Gorey at bottom. Measures 3.75'' x 7.5'', framed to 6.875'' x 10.25''. Not examined out of frame, but appears near fine.
