Carl Laemmle, Sr. typed letter signed on his personal letterhead from Universal Pictures, the company he founded. The film industry pioneer writes to a women in Baltimore who requests his signature for an autograph contest. Signed ''Carl Laemmle'' in black fountain pen, letter is dated 30 August 1932 and comes with a Universal Pictures promotional booklet advertising their 1932 film slate. Letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Folds including one through signature, else near fine condition.
